A return will always start with you reaching out to our customer service team. In short, give us a call or send us an email. We are happy to talk to our partners anytime. And, we want to make things right.
Unused HVAC Equipment - Returns
When you purchase equipment from Sensible HVAC Wholesale, rest assured that we’re on your side. We accept returns of products that have been purchased from us. Partners should reach out within 30 days of the purchase of the product. You’ll need to provide us with a copy of a valid purchase order. Good news: there’s no paper trail to keep track of, a copy of your order should be in your email inbox!
My product is defective, and I need a replacement.
It’s a bad day when you discover the product you’re trying to install is defective. Although we only sell equipment from top brand manufacturers like Trane, Carrier, and Lennox, defective units are still a possibility. If you think your product is defective, please give us call and talk us through what you’re seeing. Once we’ve agreed to process the return, we’ll send out a replacement right away.
I no longer need my purchase.
It happens: you think you have a sale locked up, and it falls through. We’ve all had it happen. So if you need to return a product in this case, we can still help you. First, the product must be unused. Second, be aware you’ll need to pay the shipping costs to return the equipment back to us. Finally, there is a 15% restocking fee for returned, unused products.
I received the wrong HVAC equipment, I need to return it and get the right unit.
If for some reason we’ve made an error in your order, we’ll promptly send you the correct item. You won’t pay for our mistake- there’s no additional cost to you when we’re correcting our own errors. Plus, we’ll schedule and pay for the shipping of the returned product. When you reach out to us, it is helpful to provide a photo of the incorrect product you received. A photo of the product’s nameplate will do.
Our partners are responsible for checking all equipment upon receipt. You should always make sure that the product matches your purchase order before signing off on the shipment receipt. However, even if you forgot, we’ll still help with returning your product as long as it is unused.
What does it mean for a product to unused?
It may seem obvious, but when we say a product is unused we mean:
The product has never been installed, and
The equipment is in condition to be resold. That means:
The equipment does not have any damages, scratches, or other defects
The product must be returned with original manufacturer packaging. That includes manuals, accessory kits, and packing materials. All packaging must be unopened.
If you’re preparing for a return, here’s a few things to keep in mind:
Make sure your product is in unused condition, if applicable
Return shipments for HVAC equipment must be sent via a method with a tracking number.
Any products that were sent via a freight carrier, must be returned via a freight carrier. If you’re not sure, feel free to contact us.
